Bowling Birthday Party!
Age 5-13

Is there a bowling alley close to your home? See if you can schedule a bowling party for your little one. Most have "bumpers" that can be placed in the lane so even the littlest one can knock down a few pins. Many also have a snack bar where you can serve your cake and ice cream. (This is great for the mother who has little or no time for a house party.)

Decorations: Decorations will depend on where you will be serving your birthday treats. If you are staying at the bowling alley, bring a bright tablecloth or two, and balloons to tie to the birthday child's chair to signify the "guest of honor". It would be great if you could bring a bowling shirt (T-shirt) with the date of the party and their names printed on it. This is something you can do with your child the day before their party starts with inexpensive shirts and permanent inks.
