Baseball Birthday Party!
Age 5-13

Is your child in love with the sport of baseball or softball? This party is great for both boys and girls who love sports!

Decorations: Draw a baseball diamond on a white paper tablecloth or brown kraft paper. Of course, the guest of honor gets to sit at "Home Plate". Using round white dishes draw stitching lines, to resemble those on a baseball, on each plate. Just be sure to use a permanent maker that will not come off on their food. Suspend plastic balls, with fishing line, from the ceiling. Purchase plastic bats and balls to give each guest.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame: Divide your group into two teams and have a "Home Game". If there are children who do not wish to play, they can be the spectators and cheer on the teams. For a game that everyone can play, draw a line a good distance from a starting point, and using plastic wiffle balls, have each guest see how far they can throw the ball. Award prizes for the furthest distance thrown, the shortest distance, and for the best sport.
