Dance Party

Choose a dance era according to the age of the birthday person. There is a multitude of music available for every age. For instance, if the party is for your Mom or Dad, and they grew up in the 60's, gather music from that era. Ask the guests to dress in clothing from that time. (This will get everyone involved in the merrymaking!)

Decorations: Your best bet is to research the era you are trying to re-create. Using the 60's as an example, flower power was it! Hang posters such as "Make Love, Not War", "Peace Will Rule the Planet". Burn incense to set the mood.

Best Dressed: Award prizes to the most original, most outrageous, and best sport of the evening!
